LPR Setup Instructions

If you are just in need of creating users in the ALPR System skip Steps 1-5 and go directly to the web form. If you need to add multiple users click the CLICK HERE TO ADD ANOTHER EMPLOYEE Button. If you already have completed the steps and your agency currently uses LPR you can go straight to creating users

Step 1

A signed agreement with Utilitra or Genetec Integrator showing that your agency is purchasing cameras must be signed and attached.

Step 2

The MOU with the DEA must be signed and sent to Bob Lang Robert.E.Lang@dea.gov before any accounts will be created. If this has already been sent you can disregard this step.

Step 3

To stay compliant with the MOU Alton PD has with the Illinois State Police. Each Agencies Chief Administrator must fill out and electronically sign the MOU below. This MOU is between your agency and the Alton Police Department regarding the transmitting, receiving, and storage of information contained in LEADS, National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and the Illinois Secretary of State (SOS).

Once the MOU is signed a copy will be emailed to the email address you provided on the MOU. A copy of this MOU must also be kept for your department records. Click here to read and sign the MOU (Electronic Web Form)

Step 4

Once you have the LEADS signed agreement and DEA MOU signed, attach a copy of the MOU to this form using the file upload option below.

Use the form below to add personnel that need access to the ALPR system.

After all accounts are created in the ALPR System each user will receive an email with instructions on how to enroll and login. Depending on your environment your IT Department may need to be involved for the install.
